Armoured Behemoths: Since the rules state that it ignores shaken/stunned/weapon dest and Immobilised results on the Vehical Damage chart.

Do Grav guns still inflict a Hull point of Damage to the vehicle since this result is completely ignored and the Grav rule says it suffers an immobilized result and loses a hull point.

The reason why the discussion came up was how it was worded. I was inclined to say that yes the HP was still inflicted because the way HP interaction happens is that HPs are removed then rolls are made on the Damage chart. However the opposing argument was that the HP was not inflicted since it appeared that HP removal was made after the Immobilization was simply "inflicted" and never rolled on.

The hull point is still inflicted, you don't stop just because it ignores part of the effect.

I was trying to find some relevant rules to quote, but I couldn't find anything other than the part on page 76 of the rulebook where it talks about effects that cause results but not hull points (which is sort of inverse to the question).
