Let's start with some boring backstory to this idea, I was looking to run a mordheim game with some mates. While playing bloodbowl online and waiting for my opponent to join the game set-up I was looking at the news and saw something about football hooligans and the World Cup. The that got me thinking, what about a mordheim warband made of football hooligans, but no, in my stupidity I decided to make a game based around the football hooligans of blood bowl. So I ask you for some advice in regards to the whole thing.
I was thinking of a mordheim game, with a few influences of fantasy with an overall bloodbowl theme, I was thinking of a relatively static base gang, with them all being human, but recruiting special "mercenaries" depending on the team they support. For example a Orc supporting team would have access to orks and goblins, or, a human warband getting access to special units, such as a police force?
As for progression, I was thinking of a mordheim style experience progression, with a similar style of item progression, this would allow for an extended campaign, maybe this could be affected by bloodbowl result? I was thinking about that for a twist, so, if your supported team wins you could get sponsored by a manager and if they lose you get hatred towards the team that won, something like that. Just as a twist.
But as I said at the start, ANY FEEDBACK, would be appreciated. Even if your telling me I'm stealing a game that already exist please tell me, I have not seen this yet but would NOT want to steal a game that already exists.
