For use at events that use the ITC FAQ (so nerfed invis and 2+ rerolls). I know there's some weirdness regarding Vraks spawn but for the purposes of the list just assume they're fine. There's some obvious stuff the list struggles with, multiple iKnights, high AV spam, spider wKnights, but other than those I think it does fairly well against most things. Has a few fast units to grab maelstroms, some tough Obsec, a few counter assault units, and of course tons of dakka. Thoughts?

I think you can drop some 4 Wyverns for 6 Rapier Laser Destroyer

Yeah, in Vanguard deployment I pretty much fill the deployment zone. I've got 5 sets of templates and 12 scatter dice, really speeds up firing the artillery.

Unfortunately I'm short on slots (and I want keep it in a CAD for obsec), so 6 rapiers isn't an option. Trading 4 wyverns for 3 rapiers and 4 quad launchers might be doable, although I don't currently have the models for that.

Honestly, I have never been impressed by Stormspear unless in a war convocation with rerolling to miss. I think for the points you can find better use for it somewhere, that's almost a 1/3 of your army.

Yeah i hear you, the knight is super expensive, but he adds a ton of utility to the army that's hard to duplicate elsewhere (high non-blast rate of fire, speed, stomps, toughness, counter assault). I've also got mixed feelings about the stormspear, but I don't really have another way to get more high S shots into the list that doesn't involve adding a million more models. Also since it has a 360 arc of fire it lets me do funny things like shoot all his other guns one direction then charge something behind me. And don't forget the ammo dump makes him almost twin-linked.

How would you spend those points differently?
