No problem, good question. I think that str 6 ap 5 ignores cover blasts on mobile, durable, relentless units are far more potent against far more things than str 5 ap 4 rapid fire gauss. Couple other points, I have 3 units of warriors in ghost arks, the list is packing a ton of gauss already. Also, even though ap 4 seems a lot better than ap 5, for the purposes of competitive games, ap 3 is really the magic number, anything above that starts to become unimportant, however, the beamers being strength 6 means they can instant death guard/eldar/deldar/tau multi-wound units. There's a few reasons.
