Fast Attack:
(6+1) Space Marine Bike Squad
Plasma Gun (PE)
Flamer (FNP?)
Sergeant (Leader)
3x Chainsword Bikers
Attack Bike w/ Multimelta (Sharpshooter?)
[196]

Just messing around with the idea of a biker army for Kill Team. With Skilled Rider, all the terrain is less of an issue, plus the +1S HoW is just gravy. T5 across the board is good on 3+ saves. Wasn't sure what to go for on the specialists, but PE for the Plasma seems useful (re-rolling the ones), while the Sharpshooter means my MM ignores cover, which is amusing. Just threw FNP onto a guy because why not?

Anyhow, tinkering with other lists, but this one seemed good since I have a load of bikes just sitting around.

EDIT:
Instead of a new thread, I figure I will just consolidate this for my Biker lists:

(5) Ravenwing Black Knights
- Sharpshooter
- FNP
- Furious Charge
[200]

The whole army sports TL Plasma, one of which ignores cover (Sharpshooter) and another with FNP, just because. S5 Rending CC attacks, one of which is S6 on the charge (FC). All units have Scout (or can Outflank), for re-positioning, can re-roll Jink saves (RW), have Skilled Rider to negate DT tests, and can Overwatch at BS2 if they don't jink (Grim Resolve). Everything is T5 with a 3+, which is just solid. And the cherry on top is HoW.

The big drawback is it is only 5 models. 3 die and I start taking break tests (albeit, re-rollable). However, the army is mobile, has solid firepower that threatens anything, and can actually fight in CC too. I think this might be a nasty, nasty army on the table.

Bumping for second list added and more feedback overall.

I'm thinking three Black Knights plus 5-6 Scouts may be a very good Kill Team. Or just a dozen Scouts. Hard to beat them.

It is? I would think they would struggle against T5 3+ bikes that swing at S5 with Rending in CC.

Each bike can kill only one model each turn. Numbers often win Kill Team.

both imo are very strong Kill Teams

personally out of the two, i would go black knights.

Five bikes will be five dead Scouts a turn, if they shoot/assault with success. That is a lot to take even for a list with 10+ Scouts, who will in-turn have a lot of trouble against the Bikes (5's to-wound, 3+ saves).

At least, that is my logic. Plus, Scouts are a lot less mobile than Bikes.

Just trying to make sure I am thinking through all the options before I start building the list - though not a big deal as I have the bikes already mostly built and just gathering dust right now.

BKs seem like they have gnarly killing power with all those extra rules and TL Plasma and stuff. The downside is having to buy the models! I most likely will buy Outriders and just count-as BKs, because I simply do not care for Dark Angels.

Bikes are a pain in the ass to paint but you wouldn't regret having a dozen Black Knights in full 40k games. They're one of the best units.

I am not likely to expand to a full DA army. I have like a silly amount of armies already, I just wanted some variety for KT games. My existing armies don't translate well to KT, such as Cult Mech and Imperial Knights.
