Wait... Shades sell for a bunch? My Shade is NIB as I got it in some lot 4 years ago...

As for the list, I like Barrow Wights. I like them a lot, not sure how this would fair though because this is basically an army of Support models. I'd think it would be like watching a starcraft 2 game where it is mass Vyper or something. You can sure move stuff around but your numbers can't take advantage of it?

Yeah the list is gak.

- everything can be banished
- 16 models at 500 pts
- no shooting
- does not want to fight high courage
- mid-tier Nazgul (low tier?)

But I didn't own any of the models and was so excited to get the Shade at MSRP that I ordered some other stuff.

Angmar is probably the worst army list in the game, overall.

I do not think Angmar is the worst army list in the game, at all. Angmar is actually pretty darn good if I am remembering right, they can pull all sorts of shenanigans. DCHL had some basic 100 buck lists on their youtube channel, but there is more too. Angmar, like Mordor, can pull Codex: Fell Beast on anyone and then as a non-fell beast list they can supplement hordes/monsters with a surplus of magic. Paralyze is, in my opinion, one of the strongest spells in the game. You just can't expect to go spirit-only with Angmar unless the spirits are on Fell Beasts.

Correct me if I am wrong, it has been a bit since my last wave of games since I moved.

Angmar is plenty competitve, as nearly every list can be under the right player. A spiritless angmar army was top 10 I believe, at Nova (saw first hand) and arguably the spirit heroes are the strongest part of the list (wights, WK, shade), though special mention to a Monster hero with 3 might for his price point.

But you defintely want to take advantage of the plentiful orcs and fantastic trackers to bulk out the list and take advantage of the spirits abilities.
