Hey guys, long time Salamander player here. I've been trying to make the Flameblade Strikeforce work for a while with some success. Came up with this list late at night, tell me what you think.
[+Flameblade Strike Force+]
Stormlance Demi-Company
Vulkan Hes'tan - 190
Tac Marines x 10, Meltagun, Veteran Sergeant, Rhino - 195
Tac Marines x 10, Meltagun, Veteran Sergeant, Rhino - 195
Tac marines x 5, Nocturne's Fury, Veteran Sergeant, Rhino - 135
LandSpeeder, Multimeltas x 2 - 70
Dev Marines x 5, Lascannons x 2, rhino - 145
Ravenhawk Assault Group
Stormraven Gunship, TL multi-melta - 200
Sternguard x 5, Heavy Flamers x 2- 130
Dreadnought, Heavy Flamers x 2- 115
Ravenhawk Assault Group
Stormraven Gunship, TL multi-melta - 200
Sternguard x 5, meltagun x 2, combi-melta x 3 - 160
Dreadnought, Heavy flamers x 2 - 115
-Total 1850-
The Stormlance is tasked with putting pressure on the field and controlling objectives, whilst the Ravenhawks drop some angry dreads and S6 shredding heavy flamers to deliver serious hurt to wherever needs it most.
I could also switch out for a regular Battle Demi-co (which would allow me to put Vulkan in with the flamer sternguard) and get some objective secured. But being able to unleash an entire squads worth of fire, and then retreating from to safety from most small arms and being twin-linked against units that hold objectives is really nice.
Thoughts?

Welcome to Dakka.
Looks like a fun list. Good balance of firepower, lot of burning.
Which demi-co to use is a toss up. This one should be more mobile and kill better, the other better at objective games. Luckily, you can swap between the formations with the same models, so might as well try it out both ways and see how you like it.
Not sure how I feel about the all flamer dreads. It might just be that they don’t make minis for them (barring FW) so I’ve never seen one in play. But they seem a little too focused. I might just run the basic MM arm, with the HF powerfist. Cheep, multi-role, fluffy.
I think points would be better spent getting your sarges c-meltas rather then vet status. A single meltagun in a squad (even TL’d) is not reliable. I’d also like to see MMs in the 10 man squads, but that’s the Codex loving Ultramarine in me talking.
If you could find the points to run grav cannons on your devs, they would be well spent for this kind of list.
I’m a bit wary of two expensively laden flyers loitering in reserves. I like how you’ve kitted them out, but a few bad reserve rolls and your ground forces are going to be twisting in the wind. What I might do is cut one for something with a bit more table presence. Something like a sotrmbringer squadron would keep with the fast moving theme of the army, and add some ObSec.

Dreadnoughts with 2 Str6 heavy flamers wreak havoc, although here's a list that drops one of the ravenhawks in favor for upgrades and a 10th company task force
[+Flameblade Strike Force+]
Stormlance Demi-Company
Vulkan Hes'tan - 190
Tac Marines x 10, Meltagun, Combi-Melta, Melta bomb Veteran Sergeant, Rhino - 210
Tac Marines x 10, Meltagun, Combi-Melta, Melta bomb Veteran Sergeant, Rhino - 210
Tac marines x 5, Nocturne's Fury, Combi-Melta, Melta bomb Veteran Sergeant, Rhino - 150
LandSpeeder, Multimeltas x 2 - 70
Dev Marines x 5, Lascannons x 2, rhino - 145
Ravenhawk Assault Group
Stormraven Gunship, TL multi-melta - 200
Sternguard x 10, Heavy Flamers x 2, combi-melta x 5, melta bomb- 290
IronClad Dreadnought, Heavy Flamer, Ironclad Assault launchers- 155
10th Company Task force
Scout x 5, Sniper rifles x 4, Camocloaks, Combi-Melta- 79
Scout x 5, Sniper rifles x 4, Camocloaks, Combi-Melta - 79
Scout x 5, Sniper rifles x 5, Camocloaks - 70
-Total 1848-
I like VS because they help reduce the chance of snap firing from vehicle penetration results, as they're likely to be inside the rhinos until they're destroyed. Ravenhawk still does heavy damage wherever I need it to, sternguard combat squad into flamers and meltas.
I also dislike MM on the tacticals because it is counter to the stormlances strengths.
10th co task force to infiltrate, cause pinning, and be fearless objective holders because of the Flameblade strikeforce.
