Hey everyone, I ran 2 "casual" games so far with IG-88C and Latts Razzi, and both went really well for me! What are some lists other people have considered using IG-88D Crew?

The list I ran was the following:
Spoiler:

Latts Razzi (YT-666) - 47 points
- IG-88D Crew
- K4 Security Droid
- Weapons Engineer
- Engine Upgrade
- "Hot Shot" Blaster

IG-88C (IG-2000) - 53 points
- Push The Limit
- Heavy Laser Cannon
- IG-2000 Title
- Advanced Sensors
- Glitterstim
- Autothrusters

total - 100 points

Latts gets the 2 target locks on a green manuever then can just boost all day, and now get an evade each time. The IG-88C can be changed around to different builds and "hot shot" blaster can be dropped for use elsewhere.

Out of IG-88 Crew lists I've though of this is the strongest, because the latts build supports boosting nearly every turn. "Hot Shot" Blaster so far has been really useful when forced moving strait through dense asteroids.

Each time I've lined up a HLC shot and reduced they're agility by one I've seen a good scowl....hehehe.

Thought I'd just post this build, its not necessarily competitive (swarm and alpha strikes would potentially destroy this list), but its been fun to play and makes me wonder what others might have come up with IG-88D crew.

Nice idea!

The one I've seen is IG-88B and Moralo Eval. A double-tapping cannon with a 180' arc is a disturbing thing to see, especially since the thing came with Bossk on board.

The best I've seen so far is abusing IG-88C and Dengar or Manaroo. The toilet seats are boosting almost every turn anyway, so adding a free evade token is really good. And if you do IG-88/Manaroo you can pass double focus and an evade token to IG-88 every turn, on top of whatever tokens IG-88 gets itself.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

I like the idea of Bossk crew on Lats or Moraio with IG-D crew and IG-B ship , its a essential pay a stress for a second HLC shot with both TL and Focus, plus it still works if you can't ditch the stress

Add a tactician for some double-stress fun. You'll be the life of the party.

It's also worth noting that Bossk crew only adds a stress if you don't already have one. So if you do a red maneuver (like a 0-stop or a hard 3), you get a stress from the maneuver. Shoot, most like miss since you're on unmodified dice, and then get the TL/Focus token and another shot, but not a second stress token.

Bossk is actually a decent crew IF you have another source of a second attack (Gunner or 88B, basically).

I was under the impression that you only received the focus and target lock if you received a stress. It might very well be a reading comprehension fail on my part, but I interpreted the word "then" as being conditional on the sentence just before applying to your situation. Like an IF is C+

Woo I'm dating myself here.

FAQ:
Bossk triggers each time you perform an attack that does not hit. If you are not stressed, you receive a stress token. If you are already stressed, you do not receive an additional stress token. Then, whether or not a stress token is receieved, assign 1 focus token to your ship and acquire a target lock on the defender.

He can, in fact, pull that jank whilst already stressed.

Couple of ideas for lists:

IG88-B /w Moralo. The synergy between Bossk crew and the IG B gunner effect is obvious, but you can also use Zuckuss on both attacks - the first to buff the defender's dice (to help trigger IG88-D/Bosk), and the second to nerf the defender's dice. You can run the ship actionless and just carry the stress. IG-88B can run over the normal 50 pt cap - I feel like he works pretty well with Lone Wolf + Advanced Sensor (especially after Moralo dies).

IG-88B (36)
Lone Wolf (2)
Advanced Sensors (3)
Heavy Laser Cannon (7)
Tractor Beam (1)
Glitterstim (2)
Autothrusters (2)
IG-2000 (0)

Moralo Eval (34)
Heavy Laser Cannon (7)
IG-88D (1)
Bossk (2)
Zuckuss (1)
Inertial Dampeners (1)
Maneuvering Fins (1)

Total: 100

IG88-C / Manaroo

Manaroo can use PTL to generate two tokens per turn (TL, or Focus, Or Evade), and then either transfer them to IG88-C, or keep them to buff herself. This way, you can selectively buff one of your ships at the start of the combat phase. Both ships are able to turtle up and pass to their ability buff to the other if they get critically low on HP. Manaroo in particular can very slippery with Unhinged, PTL and EU.

IG-88C (36)
Lone Wolf (2)
Advanced Sensors (3)
Heavy Laser Cannon (7)
Inertial Dampeners (1)
Autothrusters (2)
IG-2000 (0)

Manaroo (27)
Push the Limit (3)
IG-88D (1)
Unhinged Astromech (1)
Engine Upgrade (4)
Punishing One (12)

Total: 99

Yikes, this seems fairly nasty. I love that you can use Moralo's primary attack of three dice to almost ensure that it doesn't hit to trigger a 4 dice attack that gets focus and TL.
