Hey everyone, looking to create a fun 1,500 point Dark Angels army for casual play with friends. I have come up with the following list and wanted to get your feedback. Dark Angels CAD: 1,500 points HQ: Space Marine Command Tanks (415) -Land Raider Excelsior (Warlord) - Rod of Command -Rhino Primaris -Dozer Blade HQ: Ezekiel (145) Elite: Command Squad (240) -Apothecary -Sacred Standard -4x Grav Guns -4x Storm Shields Elite: Deathwing Knights (235) Elite: Ravenwing Command Squad (295) -3x Additional Ravenwing Black Knights -Apothecary -Ravenwing Banner -Ravenwing Champion Scouts (84) -Camo Cloaks -4x Sniper Rifles -Missile Launcher Scouts (84) -Camo Cloaks -4x Sniper Rifles -Missile Launcher Total Points: 1498 The idea is to join Ezekiel with the command squad and transport them in the Rhino Primaris, while the Land Raider Excelsior transports the deathwing knights. The Ravenwing Command Squad is placed in reserves with the intent to outflank the opponent. One idea is to use the Rhino primaris Orbital array to insure that the Ravenwing command squad arrives from reserves (outflank) by Turn 2, and use the orbital bombardment if it remains alive until turn 3. Additionally, the Land Raider Excelsior can use tactical authority to give either the Ravenwing command squad or the Deathwing Knights Preferred enemy, and Ezekiel gives the Deathwing Knights and/or Ravewing Command Squad +1 attack. The command squads sacred standard gives the unit relentless so they should be able to shoot grav-guns at full salvo, and the apothecary as well as storm shields makes the unit much more resilient. Snipers are to sit on backfield objectives and shoot at monstrous creatures/provide fire support. The grav-weapons in the Command Squad and on the Land Raider Excelsior have the concussive special rule and can help reduce the enemy initiative prior to charing with either the Deathwing Knights or Ravenwing Command Squad.
