After two days of fighting and although securing Merebich, the German defence of Langerwehe proved too tougher a nut to crack this time out...

The Fallschirmjäger Engineer unit defending Merebich held out longer than anticipated and gave the Yanks a few problems till they gave way early in the afternoon when a Combat Command from 3AD helped out. But the main attacks on Langerwehe by C and D Companies went in too disjointed and didn't wait for the supporting armour, they had a rough time of it and although some troops made the railway embankment and dug in along at the end of the first day, they weren't able to push on into the town the second day.

Big thanks to all those players who made the effort to attend and travel the distance to join in the Battlegroup Big Game 2016. With players from UK, Luxembourg, Germany and USA joining us in Ireland it was a very international event!

Very cool, It would be nice if there was more of a report, has anyone written it up?

Never played Bolt Action, but if the look of the terrain is any indication of what is playable, that is encouraging.
