If this isn't part of a tech priest, it's reusing cad elements from the tech priest Dominus.

Could that actually be part of some kind of event mini? That pose doesn't exactly strike me like your average tabletop pose.

You figure that from the robotic arm or the half-cog key?

Oh, interesting. I never even considered that possibility.
In my defense, I wasn't aware that it was robotic. It could have been very lumpy flesh.

Instead of a new Rumor Engine thread each week, maybe the mods can make this the ongoing thread from now on. With that, here's the two previous Rumor Engine images:

These teases just don't add up, who knows when any of this will release, its madness I tells ya, madness! I do appreciate a good robot arm holding up some key but cant put a finger on what the arm belongs to.

The latest one definitely looks like AdMech.
And I'll go out on a limb and say that it's DARK Mechanicum, with the keys being a conceptual nod to the Vaults of Moravec. "Unlocking" forbidden knowledge and all that.

Nah, in that case the key would be half an 8-pointed star. GW is subtle like that.

It has a slightly malicious vibe to it, but I'm not willing to believe GW doing dark mech just yet.

I'm going to go in a completely different direction and guess that the keys make this relate to the Dark Angels in some way. The key motif has been used in Dark Angels stuff before and they're the only non-codex chapter that hasn't received some sort of campaign book.

DA don't have anything to with the mechanicum though and that's clearly a half cog. At least to my knowledge.

Well, we have Imperial agents right around the corner, so it is probably a techpriest or Inquisition model. Inquisitors have lots of keys as well, so I really doubt it is Dark Angels, especially with the half cog mechanicus bit.

True, but the cog motif has shown up on marines in the recent past, most notably on the Deathwatch Overkill sprues. It definitely looks like a servitor arm and I wouldn't be surprised if it was some kind of mechanicus thing, but servitor arms and cogs, while part of the mechanicus iconography, are hardly unique to their models and if I'm right the Dark Angels are the only ones who have been sporting keys in the past. Not saying you're wrong, just stirring the pot since there's no way to say anything conclusively anyway.
Inquisition does make sense to me though considering the upcoming releases.

Indeed, Inquisition also crossed my mind, it could very well be a henchman carrying around the personal belongings of the Inquisitor, including a set of keys, which or may not be ceremonial.

Grey Knights also have key bits. It's not a Dark Angels thing specifically.
Personally I'd love to see some new servitors that are as creepy as the tech priests Ad Mech has.
Frankly, Inquisition needs models for basically everything since it's all metal and finecast currently.

It's obviously not a Marine arm so I'd probably rule out a Marines. It's a little spindly AdMech arm so that's the safest bet.

You definitely converted me with your the Inquisition argument. We know they're coming, they need models, the key motif fits them, and a servitor would make a great retinue member.

That seems the most likely tbh (related to imp agents that is), there are no rumours about an incoming admech release are there?

I doubt it, plus it would no doubt upset a lot of people if the Sisters of Battle were relegated to stooge duty with the Inquisition.
