Just what the title says. I know that 40k, WHFB and War Machine all have guides for the various factions and i thought "Why not Kings of War?" Now i know that, unlike the games i mentioned, KoW doesnt really have bad units, so what would be the point of a guide? Well to help point new players in the right direction. I mean the less people who start the game by thinking "All you need is a Vamp Lord on a Dragon with Ensorcelled Armor" or "ALL EFREET ALL THE TIME!" the better in my opinion.

Id probably lay the guides out like the 40k ones (which are the ones im most familiar with) something like this:

Army Wide rules
Basic Unit analysis
War Machine analysis
Monster Analysis
Hero Analysis
Example lists

So what do my fellow generals think?

Go for it.

I think that any kind of guide should starts with more generic ideas, like "how to use heavy cavalry", and after that only explore the advantage of the different kinds.

for exemple an article on heavy cav might explain how to best use their TC for maximum effect, how to use faster units like light cavalry or cheap fliers to screen your advance, and so on, while a complement might explore the advantage of each army variants : elves with faster heavy cav, orcs with TC and CS instead of pure CS, and so on ...

This would be awesome. Even more so if posted on a forum and improved using people's comments.

Note there might be more interest and interaction on Mantic's forum,
