So I'm getting into infinity and I was wondering how good the Black Friday deals were on miniature market. Did the have a starter on sale or was it just a few random packs on sale? Also I'm stuck between PanOceania and yu Jing. Like how are the play styles different and what are the must have units?

Not sure what knowing how the last MM sale was, but if I remember correctly, the Black Friday sale wasn't too great. It was mostly older models that have been redone, but I think either or both Red Veil and Ice Storm two player starter sets were on sale though. The sale before that, however - the bigger than black friday sale - had some really great deals on pretty much all the sectorial starter boxes and a few TAGs (and had the Onyx Contact Force box as deal of the day immediately afterwards). They usually have three or four blisters per faction on sale as well. MM regularly has good Infinity sales, and I've picked up over a 100 Infinity figures in the past year for at least 50% off - though it helps not to be picky on what units you want or what factions they belong to.

I'll let someone else describe the factions, as I play casually and pick my models by what I want to paint, but I think PanO and Yu Jing are the most technologically similar factions, and probably play pretty similarly in a broad sense (the sectorials are probably where the biggest differences will be).

Yeah, MM's best Infinity deals are their deal of the day. You need to be quick but there's some absurd bargains to be had.
