This is a shooty list that I'm thinking of taking to the next local tourney. Since I've learned that regardless of what I bring or do, I'm going to get screwed on all the soft scores, I decided to break the 'comp matrix' that they use there with an extremly nasty list that only loses 1 point (out of 25) on the matrix that they use.

Master in terminator armor (Lightning claw, storm bolter)
4 Terminators (2 Assault cannons, 1 Chain fist)

Epistolary Librarian in terminator armor (Force Weapon, Storm Bolter, Fear, Fury)
4 Terminators (2 Assault cannons, 1 Chain fist)

6 man Tactical Squad (Lascannon/Plasma gun) in Razorback (Twin heavy bolters)

6 man Tactical Squad (Plasma Cannon) in Razorback (Twin Lascannons)

10 man Tactical Squad (Lascannon/Plasma gun)

6 man Tactical Squad (Lascannon/Plasma gun)

5 man Assault Squad (Veteran with Power fist)

Squadron of 2 Land Speeder Tornadoes (Assault Cannon/Heavy Bolter)

8 Man Devestator Squad (4 Missile Launchers)

Predator Destructor (Heavy Bolter Sponsoons)

Tactics are basically to blast anything facing me off the board. Assault Squad and Terminators are both counter-assault and mobility to seize objectives.

What armies would give this trouble/How would you beat it?

After some testing and comments, I've changed the list to this...

10 man Tactical Squad (Lascannon/Plasma gun)

6 man Tactical Squad (Plasma Cannon)

As your only real tank, that Destructor will probably draw a fair bit of fire - is that the idea?
If you need AP4 shooting more than a target for autocannons and so on, I'd say make the assault squad and Devastator Squad elites, split up the Land Speeders, and get a Whirlwind instead.

Well, I have to work with the restrictions of troops>=fast+heavy+elite and having at least 7 different unit types or else I lose comp points.

So what armies would give me trouble?

Most armies will give you trouble. JSJ Tau should eat you up. Necrons will have you every game. You will have a hard time scoring objectives.

All in all it looks like a sad and largely immobile and one dimensional clone of Mauleed's list, with added crappy static devastators.

If you like playing it that's great but I don't think this list could ever win a modern tournament even with a gay comp matrix

Congratulations. Not to take anything away from you but his list was pretty lame.
