I love this series. Neil Harris is amazing in it. All the characters are deliciously over the top.
The daughter tells me they've added a bit -whcih helps clarify some things but overall follows the books. She loves it too.

My Daughter (15.5 yrs) and I devoured this in 2 sessions to watch all 8 episodes.. So very happy that the next 2 seasons are already greenlit.

Seeing NPH as the various disguises is wonderful!

I'm like 4 episodes in and enjoying it so far. Also never read the books but I did see the Jim Carey movie, I like the series better.. the movie was like 3 stories in 1, I think it works better as a series like this.

Plowed through it in a couple sittings. Loved it!!

There are 13 books plus two specials, the Diary of Lemony Snicket and a parody book, The Luckiest Kids in the World 1: The Pony Party.

Very well worth reading, they probably are all still in print.

The author has written some other stuff too in a similar vein from what I can make out.

Binge the whole thing, and it's wonderful!

Loved it. Wife was pretty happy, but had a couple qualms with the way things were presented (stuff not being like the books). Overall, very solid series
