Hi hoping to start soon but have some questions
1 any news on the dwarf team release date
2 are the new cards a must or are they for one off games only

Thanks for your help I wish GW was more open on what's going on as the league starts in just over a week and they don't have a lot of information

1- Can't help you, sorry.

2- I have found the cards enhance a "beer and pretzels" type game, but detract from it if you are trying to play a more serious or competitive game. ie, they are wacky and fun and random and some of them are stupid good.

Pre-order for the Dwarf team is this week, release is February 4th

The cards are accessories... you don't NEED to play with them.
They do make the game more random, so I'd guess that they will be excluded from tournaments and from a lot of leagues as a result.

The cards are part of the game and usable in League play. If you are getting the box set you'll get the cards. If you're just focusing on a team then you don't need the cards but the game is better with them.

In our LGS league there is a "house" set of the special play cards to be used by the group.

The dwarf team is out now.

The cards are optional, they add additional randomness/crazyness to the game.
