I am curious how is everyone's armies coming along? Mine is coming slowly. Just life crap in the way. Thing is my Icewind Assault army is about 1/2 way done now. Thing is I want to start a new army now.
So I am curious how are other people's armies coming along? Do you want to add to it? Is it complete? Is any army ever complete?

Well I just bought the book for Disciples of Tzeentch... so that's a start.
Currently planning it out with the miniatures I want and what order I'll buy them in... However I'm constantly finding out the local club that has the most AoS action has a load of restrictive House Rules like "can't take more than 1 of the same Hero", "maximum of 2 Wizards", "can't have more than 3 of the same Warscroll" and "You must roll on Command, Artefact and Spell tables, you can't pick".
Yeah finding out about those made is a lot harder to plan out an army I'd both want to play and that wouldn't fold completely against the masses of Stormcast, Bloodbound and Flesh-Eaters I'll most often be facing.

Stalled.
The recent FAQs answered two very important questions that took the wind out of my sails. Still waiting on two more unanswered questions, but my motivation for playing has been lackluster.
On the painting side, I'm still very eager to persue the project where I left off as I'm settling my back into a normal rhythm from the holidays. Only on the back burner because of a new player slow grow league, that I'm keeping pace with the new players.

Until then, it's alright. I care not a dime for competiveness, so I'm not worrying about changes.

Also not a competitive player. I'm bulking up a few units in my old WFB armies to make them compatible with AoS' less flexible unit sizes (e.g. bumping up Goblin units from 35 to 40). Haven't started any major new projects yet.

Finished my 1000 pts. of Ironjawz last Saturday for a tourney the following day. Now I either want to do a Tzeench Disc themed army or... wait for those Stormcast trackers and do an army with a few groups of 5 of them and boatloads of Gryphhounds. I decided to just got with 2 armies: Ironjawz and one of the two mentioned before. So I can swap my painting up if I go crazy from painting 'Ardboyz.

Constantly deciding what I want to do, I'm really not liking how Flesh-Eater Courts play, but I mainly play 1000-1500 points so it is harder than I thought when it comes to deciding on a new army, because some don't work too well at lower points (FEC seem to fit into this category). Curse my GW only having one AOS table at 8x4 so we usually split it into two 4x4 tables :(

What may the 2 questions be? Only really playing 2 real games, I still have a lot to learn so would like to learn anything I can and why.

I got the SC: Skeleton Horde box and a Plagueclaw (to be converted into a Screaming Skull catapult) for Christmas, so my Vampire Counts army went from 95% to 60% finished again I don't think I'll be expanding the army much more after completing those guys, although I might make an exception for a Vargheists kit...
The skeletons will have to wait a bit though, as I'm currently trying to clear my backlog a little by getting some other stuff built and ready for priming. Said other stuff is currently my Slaaneshi Path to Glory warband, which is about 80% built at the moment.

So far, I have the Bloodbound contents of the starter set fully painted (save for the Khorgorath). In addition, I have six Skull Crushers and ten Bloodletters fully painted.
Still to do... so much. I'm halfway through converting a Chaos shrine, and then need to add three more Skull crushers, twenty more Reavers, ten Blood Warriors, ten Bloodletters, two slaughter priestsd, and the contents of the Gore Chosen box.
So, I should be done somewhere around the time GW switches us back to square bases.

Just finished painting my last Slaves to Darkness model, but I still have a Khorne Bloodbound Slaughterstorm to paint. Also finally picked up Archaon this weekend. He's assembled and primed, but I'm holding off on painting him for now. After those 40 or so models, I have a Sylvaneth Battleforce and SC to paint up. Gonna take me a while to get through all that. Got a new lady in my life these days, so don't have nearly as much time to paint right now. Luckily, she's almost as nerdy as I am, so gaming time counts as "us" time

Currently speed painting a Stormcast army to ensure I have a fully painted army to bring places. And then building between my Disciples of Tzeentch and Dispossed. Which one gets painted next is up in the air. Though using Magnus as a LoC could put the DoT over the top for first look.

I don't own any of the previous Battletomes to compare it too, but I like it. It has some nice artwork and some cool background.
There's this one image with accompanying text that takes about a Human Sorcerer that's in the process of ascending to Daemonhood and showing the major rewards and artefacts he's been gifted by Tzeentch for his servitude. I found that part particularly cool (as one of my favourite things about Chaos has always been how Mortal servants are gifted with mutations and abilities far beyond a normal man).

No clue what direction I want to go in. I first bought a lord of plagues and some easy to build bloodreavers to just tinker around with a paint scheme. Then I bought Thanquol and Boneripper because he looks cool. Then I bought some maruader horsemen because I like horses (not really any horse options in 40k).
I also have a start collecting nurgle demons for use in 40k, I figured I can use that for sigmar as well. But do I go more slaves to darkness, skaven, or nurgle? I'm thinking just more knights/marauder horsemen/chariots tbh because that theme sounds cool.
Too many options make my brain hurt.

Well I was basically playing Slaves to Darkness with some Tzeentch Demons, but just bought the Tzeentch battletome and will be playing the following army:
Lord of Change (so excited for this one)
Gaunt Summoner (painting in progress)
Ogroid Thaumathurge (primed)
Chaos Sorcerer Lord (painting in progress)
6 Tzaangor Skyfires
3 Tzaangor Englightened
Tzaangor Shaman
20 Tzaangor (in box still)
20 Pink Horrors (almost finished painting)
Will be preordering the LoC this weekend, Skyfires and Shaman are on their way... very excited for this army, will hopefully be taking it fully painted to a tournament in may.

I've been busy re-basing my old (mostly metal) Empire army and updating the paint jobs for many of them too (some of which were painted up to 20 years ago). I'm not really into the competitive thing; I'm more enjoying the idea of giving new life to some old miniatures. For variety, I've also been re-painting/basing some of my old high elves, orcs, and goblins. To be honest, after a combination of a busy life and disgust with 40K a few years ago I dropped the hobby altogether but AoS has recently rekindled my love for it.
