If these are like the busts in Relic, that would be cool, they are very well done. I really should get round to painting mine.

Mmh, Nürnberg isn't that far off. If I had the time I'd certainly visit the Toy Fair to look at stuff I'll only get in Japan.

They are probably large scale models solely for painting/modeling.

My first thought was slightly sub-par plastic Gashapon marines (single piece or pre-assembeld).

If normal scale these could be ridiculous collector items outside of Japan if it's a gashapon thing.

Well geez, if we are just making unsubstantiated guesses about the scale off a poster, talk about off the wall and out of left field, the pic shows just busts, so I am guessing "3 up" versions (or 54mm) busts on pedestals!

The fact these were announced for Japan is the reason I assume these are probably larger scale collectable kits. This is more the kinda of kit that dose well in the Japanese market

My wish is for something lIke a gunpla kit

One for every Space Marine codex, and then one last series to cover everyone else?

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks
-----
"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

There's a picture of 5, and it says series 1, and it says 12 of them, my guess is series 2 will be the remaining 7...

Everybody knows ... that they will be Chibi Marines.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I know what I'll be stocking up on during my annual trips...

Did they show them yet? My guess is busts.

If they're full sized figures, I doubt they're going to be in scale though.

Probably prepainted too, no?

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Indeed, it is running for two days already. Ending on Monday, so there is still time for news.
