OK does anyone have the full datasheet for the Nurgle Plague Tower? 40K rules not Epic. Also does anyone know if GW published rules for the Khorne Cauldron of Blood?

I'm trying to make 40K scale versions of all the heavy and super heavy daemon engines from epic 40K. Some of them have 40K rules already, others will need to have compatible rules created for them. So what I want lis ists of applicable units and any thoughts on rules to make them work in the big 40K setting.

If it does not bleed, I have no use for it. Death to the False One, freedom to the Galaxy.

I'm scanning through the NetEA compilation, and almost everything I'm finding is a fancy name for "Titan of (god X)". Do you have some general estimate in your head of what Daemon Engines existed in Epic?

(Digging has turned up the Void Spinner (presumably a Scorpion-chassis Night Spinner), Marauder Spectre, and some exceedingly bizzare Necron and Dark Eldar constructs, I'm just not coming up with much for Chaos.)

OK. I can remember a few.

For Khorne they had the Cauldron of Blood, the Tower of Skulls, the Lord of Skulls. There were a few more but can't remember them right now.

For Tzeentch they had the Silver Tower or Spire,

For Nurgle there was the Plague Reaper, Plague Tower and Plague Hulk.

I'm pulling a blank with Slaanesh at the mo'.

I'm gonna have a hunt for my Index Chaotica and my Epic 40K rule books then I'll have more.

There was a Tower of Skulls (Fantasy terrain bits stuck on top of the Baneblade kit to make a tower) in one of the really old Apocalypse books, I think; will check.

UPDATE: Here we go. Rules reprinted from a few very old books (4e Apocalypse-era), with a few minor tweaks to bring them into line with the current rules (SP-HP change, that sort of thing).

Tower of Skulls (700pts)
BS 4, AV 14-13-12, HP 9
Super-Heavy Tank
(Model: Baneblade with a skull-covered tower growing out of the top)

Wargear:
1x hull-mounted Balemaw Cannon (60", S9, AP3, Primary Weapon 1, 10" Blast)
2x hull-mounted Skullreaper Cannon (36", S6, AP3, Heavy 6)
2 sponsons, each with one Doomfire cannon (24", S4, AP4, Heavy 2, Large Blast) and one twin-linked Skullshredder (24", S4, AP4, Heavy 5)

Special Rules
Daemonic Possession
Runes of the Blood God (Any psyker that targets the Tower of Skulls with a psychic power automatically suffers a Perils of the Warp attack, regardless of whether they pass the psychic test.)
Reknit Form (If the Tower of Skulls inflicts more than twenty-five Wounds in a single Shooting phase, it immediately recovers one Hull Point lost earlier in the game. Wounds caused by the Tower of Skulls exploding don't count.)
Doomsday Reactor (The Tower of Skulls receives a +2 modifier when rolling on the Catastrophic Damage table.)

Nurgle Plague Tower (700pts)
BS 3, AV 14-13-12, HP 18
Super-Heavy Vehicle
(Model: Siege tower with guns sticking out the front.)

Transport: 30 models, any number of units may embark or disembark from any side of the vehicle. 10 Fire Points.

Wargear:
1 Plague Mortar (24-72" range, S7, AP3, Primary Weapon 1, 7" Blast, Barrage)
1 Pus Cannon (Hellstorm, S7, AP3, Primary Weapon 1, Torrent (18"))
2 Demolisher Cannons

Special Rules:
Nurgling Infestation (Any unit assaulting the Plague Tower will be attacked by Nurglings. The enemy unit takes 3d6 Strength 3 hits at Initiative 3, even if the Plague Tower is destroyed earlier in the Initiative order.)
Explosion of Filth (Units with the Mark of Nurgle or the Daemon of Nurgle rule are unaffected by results on the Explosion table from the Tower of Nurgle. Hits caused by the Tower of Nurgle exploding have the Posioned (4+) rule.)

Plaguereaper of Nurgle (450pts)
BS 4, AV 14-13-12, HP 9
Super-Heavy Tank
(Model: Heavily converted rotting Baneblade with nasty pus vat things)

Wargear:

1x hull-mounted Demolisher cannon
1x hull-mounted twin-linked heavy bolter
2x sponsons, each with one lascannon and a twin-linked heavy bolter

Special Rules

Explosion of Filth (Units with the Mark of Nurgle or the Daemon of Nurgle rule are unaffected by results on the Explosion table from the Tower of Nurgle. Hits caused by the Tower of Nurgle exploding have the Posioned (4+) rule.)

Silver Tower of Tzeentch (400pts)
BS4, AV 12-12-12, HP 6
Super-Heavy Skimmer
(Model: None presented)

Wargear:
1x turret-mounted Beam of Power (48", S D, AP2, Primary Weapon 1)

This is so awesome. I Can't thank you enough. I only hope the models do justice to your diligent work hunting these rules down. I'm so stoked rigtht now.

I hope the Inquisition don't excommunicate you for your part in this clearly heretical endeavour.

If they did however there is always room amongst the true faithful for a rogue inquisitor.

Nottingham (yay!)

Slaanesh had a load of Knights.

Nurgle also had the Contagion - basically a self-propelled trebuchet.

Khorne had several variants on the relentless behemoth trope:

Tzeentch had air war covered, with Doom Wing fighters and Firebird bombers to accompany the Silver Tower.

The Silver Towers also had a heavy variant, using the Man o' War Bane Tower mini - the Warp Palace.

Oh my. I remember using doomwing and fire lord they were OP if used in the flame wing formation.

Most of these never saw a 40K rules set or comparative models. If I'm gonna scratch build at least one of each, i'll need working 40K rules for the units that never made it out of epic.

great find freand, brings back so many great memories. Shame GW and FW s top producing the minis and rules for the epic system.
