Hi all! Just starting out with AoS and I thought I would make a list with Zombies as my compulsory Battleline units as I love Zombies! Basic plan is to merge 2 of the Zombie units and for them to act as a massive tarpit whist the Archai and Mourngul act as the hammers. 400 pts left over for summoning potential objective runners or where an when I need them. I wanted Krell as my leader but couldn't find any pts for him, casket of Souls is there purely as I made a cool (imo) necromancer themed one that I haven't used yet, but could potentially be dropped.

I've just been informed that you can't increase a unit above it's starting size so instead I'll have to have one unit of 40 and 2 units of 10 to reinforce it when it drops below strength.

Also you can't take the Archai as battleline unless your ENTIRE army has the deathlords keyword. Doesn't matter since you have the 3 battleline anyway.

I think your going to like a Vampire lord with wings better then the wright king. He will project the 5+ ward save to your zombies and also use his command ability for +1 attack. on zombies its insanely good. It effectively doubles your damage. combined with Necromancer spell for double pile in.. its awesome.

at 2000, another unit of Morghasts would be awesome. Since you have some archai, you could field some harbingers. They make great summons because they can charge anything within 18" range as opposed to 12" and also charge 3d6. Since you have to summon 9" away from the enemy, thats a lot easier to make on 3d6. They are an ambush unit and are quite good at it!
