Hey all, I've been holding off on 30k until the Thousand Sons rules were released, now I don't have an excuse.

I'm pretty sure the Osiron Dreadnought upgrade makes it an HQ.

Yep , dread is a hq. 3 hqs in 30k so list still legal.

Footslogging, so you will be under punishment from enemy gunlines. Use levitation on the Sekhmet to speed up.

At 2k Magnus is probably going to be unstoppable.. You can deep strike him in if enemy has serious alpha strike , tho no scatter mitigation so be super careful.

The lack of mobility on the troops is probably the biggest weakness. But who wants to drop fancy toys for rhinos haha.

If you deep strike everything be careful about being tabled.. 20 marines and a contemptor.. some armies can make that happen in 1 turn

Are you even permitted to exchange the Dreadnought Force-Blade's combi-bolter for anything else? I can see where the isea would come from that you can, where it is cited they retain all of the options of a standard Contemptor. However I think I will be waiting for Inferno to release and then submitting that for the FAQ. Lord knows that book needs one.

Yes you can, you swap a contempter talon for the osiron and it retains all options of a standard contempter.

Im just gonna say awesome list as long as you dont deep strike magnus and both termie squads as that is a sure fire way to get tabled turn 1.
