Hey there, i love the look of the ard boyz from AOS, do you guys think them to be convertable to meganobz in 40k?
or to smal?

Too small, you can convert ironjawz brutes to meganobz instead. Still a bit smaller but with some nice work on them they can be acceptable. I'm planning to do that too, but only if I find a box of brutes with a 50% (or better) price cut.

I have some ronjawz brutes converted. They look great but did need some sculpting and the addition of bits to fit in and looked to be armoured in 2+ sv armour.

ard boyz are just that boyz in 4+ sv armour, you can convert them to nomral Nobz if you want to however.

Personally, if you wanna convert MegaNobz, you need to go with Nobz or Brutes (which are about the same size) instead of black orcs (which are slightly smaller and already heavily armored). It's quite hard to get a proper size progression (Boyz < Ard Boyz < Nobz < Ard Nobz < MegaNobz). For Ard Boyz I use Black Orks but give them regular boyz had with an iron gob (I use the funky helmets for my Ard Nobz). I can show you a picture of my f brutes and Black orcs next to a Nobz if it could help you.

I would like to get some kinda size-chart, that would be cool, i just love meganobz, but the package is so high price i was wondering if one who not done lots of converting could
save some money on AoS! or maby even other miniature from 3rd party?

There used to be an Ork Starter Set (Ork Mek Mob it was called) which included MANZ. This is where I got mine cause as of now, they are ridiculously overpriced.

From left to right : Normal Ork Boyz, Converted Savage Ork Boyz, Converted Black Orcs to Ard Boyz (if you leave them their regular helmet they are roughly Nobz sized), AoBR Nobz, Converted Brute to Ard Nobz, Ard Nobz (with Black Orcs helmet),MANZ.

As you can see, the MANZ is quite a lot bigger than the rest, will probably try to convert one using Nobz, Ogryn and MANZ leftover parts (You have six pairs of weapons in each box, more if you consider the Big Mek, but can only build 3)

Edit : Kind of sad how much time I've spent on building and converting my Nobz considering they'll go down to a strong breeze :(

Ironjawz would make great Meganobz. 'Ardboyz would make, well, exactly that - 'Ardboyz. They're not big enough to be MANz but would mike fine Nobz in 'Eavy armor or 'Ardboyz in a 40k mob.

Are mega-nubz noobs who have really good luck?
