I currently have a nice 7k narrative list but the appetite for competitive gaming in my local shop is on the increase so I thought I'd look into starting an army to play alongside that theme. I'm looking at small elite forces but capable of being competitive with a focus on speed and high damage output. Currently I'm torn between flesh eaters and beast claws, both of which fill a similar role but in different ways.

Any advice on optimising either list, and help choosing the better of the two is welcome!

The first list it doesn't look like you have a wizard to summon the Morngul unless I'm missing something. Otherwise I really like the list.

For the Beastclaws I like it. It doesn't feel to over the top gamey and actually uses mournfang packs which I love.

IIRC cursed book makes you a wizard... I think.

No, it makes you minus 1 to hit. He'd have to drop the Ruler of the Night trait for Master of the Black Arts.

Sword of unholy power gives the bearer one free summoning spell that auto passes and can't he dispelled.
