It's Stir-Friday! ... I'm probably not having stirfry, but that's my problem, not your's ... Also not your problem, trying to find a brand-new Glacial Geek KILL TEAM Battle Report ... BECAUSE IT'S RIGHT HERE!! https://youtu.be/XAMxzW4yqfg This week my Dark Angels look to get some justice against the AdMec! After the Dark Angels assault squad failed to return to base and failed to answer the vox calls, a force of scouts and assault marines were sent out to figure out what happened to their brethren. The scouts quickly located the slaughtered marines and began checking the bodies for clues as to whom their attackers were. With little warning they were attacked by Cult Mechanicus forces who also appeared interested in the bodies ... Will the Unforgiven be able to fight off the attackers and gather the information they need, or will the followers of the Omnissiah prove too strong and keep their secrets? Watch and find out!

You finally had a really lucky streak, Phil! After your last few Kill Team games, I'd say you deserve it. I will say that I don't think Kataphrons are a good choice for Kill Team because they don't have enough models and really aren't powerful enough. They are tough, but they can't kill things fast enough to matter and if they end up in CC, they've lost (as this game showed). In regular 40k they are very dangerous, though.

Also, kudos on the Princess Bride screenshot at the beginning; that is one of my favorite movies and if you like it you must be a pretty cool guy!

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000

Hahahaha! Thank you! This one felt good ;-)

The Kataphrons face the same issue any expensive units face in Kill Team ... Lack of numbers ... I love my 5-man Black Knight squad, but a few unlucky saves (as I am want to do ;-) ) and suddenly I've broken and am getting overwhelmed.

And gotta love the Princess Bride ;-)
