That's a lot of gold! It's good, but i feel like another color in there might bring out more of the details

I agree. Some silver and some bronze would make the model look much better.

Hahaha!!! How can there be such a thing as too much gold.

I'm joking. I've shifted priorities to getting the rest of my admech done, so he'll have to stay gold for a little while longer.

I'm planning on making his metallic parts 80% gold and 20% steel/bronze.

I agree that it looks good, but I think Cawl specifically needs a bit of variation in metallics to break up the mess of dentrites and plates he has.

Not necessarily even silvers or bronzes, but you can get tons of different shades of gold itself with washes over different golds, and/or drybrushing with silvers over the top
