Hi Al, haven't posted on here for a while but here goes. I've been thinking of getting back into the hobby after a break from it. But part of me is holding back from it, I think that it may be because of how I left the game. My main apponant was my friend who played eldar and grey knights against my orks and chaos marines. He had a different view of the game to me, where as I'd buy units because they looked cool, he'd search the Web for the "best" units and how to use them against my armies but even when I asked him to tone them down he didn't view hos lists as strong. Some may think I left because I was a sore loser as I lost 8/10 games but it just got to a point that it just wasn't fun anymore. Has anyone else felt this?
I was under the impression that when the new chaos rules came out it would make me come back for definate, I didn't even know till my friend told me but again he looked into the legion with the "best" rules and was like I'm going to play death guard and use all their shnanagins against you.
I know it's long winded but I'm just conflicted about getting back to it, saw a table full of terrain and minatures the other day and was that was awesome, but I don't think it would last long going back to the way he played
