Can anyone help me with finding a good set of rules for WW2 naval rules?

I have several A&A naval ships, but I'm not very fond of that ruleset (mostly, due to lackluster movement). I'd like something in about that scale, but with more emphasis on manuevering, with fleets that would be a couple battleships/carriers, and a small handful of escorts at best. Bonus if it could handle subs vs. convoys (big Silent Service PC fan).

Preferably, something that can be played in 1-2 hours with a mix of 5-10 ships apiece.

It never ends well

General Quarters 3 has a lot of what you are looking for, and has lots of optional rules so you can make the game as complex as you want (but do not need to do so): http://www.odgw.com/forums/index.php?/store/category/3-general-quarters-iii/

Victory at Sea is less complex, and a relatively fun game, done by Mongoose so it may be hard to find. I actually may have an extra copy somewhere but am not sure.

EDIT: PDF rules here: http://www.wargamevault.com/product/24097/Victory-at-Sea?it=1

Naval Thunder is supposed to be decent: http://www.wargamevault.com/product/95186/Naval-Thunder-World-War-II-%5BBUNDLE%5D

Battle Stations! Battle Stations! is another option: https://shop.decisiongames.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=1401

Top Side Minis has a set: http://topsideminis.com/product/tsm-basic-rules-set-1-0/ It is pretty rudimentary, but free. Great company, I have a ton of their ships and planes (flats instead of real minis, but I like them).

Although I use home brew, I would recommend GQ3 of the commercially available rules

Naval Thunder is a really good rule set and easy to learn.

GHQ Micronaughts is pretty good, nice range of ships both in models and rules, more on the 'simulation' end of the spectrum but pretty good in the games I've tried.

Detailed enough for stuff like Denmark Straight and River Plate to be fun, able to cope with larger games but start simple.
