So I'm running the kingmaker adventure path and my players are exploring the region on foot. One of my players had mentioned the idea of buying horses/mounts to explore/travel faster. I'm trying to figure out how I should let this work before they actually buy the horses. Would you allow it and how would you implement the use or bonus for having a mount?
Thanks in advance

Yeah of course.

Our adventuring parties regularly mounts or even carts/wagons and the like.

Little bit more secure/defensible and also makes it easier for spellcasters to get a few extra hours in scribing scrolls or building wands.

Quite often buy some guard/hunting dogs as well -- helps with the night time watch and soemtimes even extra guards -- they don't normally go into the dungeons/main adventures but are handy to stay outside and care for the mounts, luggage etc etc .

They can be a nice to fold some regular NPCs into the campaign and on at least one occasion for us one of those has "graduated" to becoming an actual PC after a character death.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
