In this battle report we introduce the Nereids of Blood Reef.  In a continuation of the story arc from our last battle report, the Fortune Hunters, having captured the Laurentian Science lab, are pit against  the Nereids, in a mission to grab as much treasure from the drop-off to Blood Reef.  Our battle this time is of two forces of ~735 points each.

This batrep was fantastic! The predatory shark sneaking up through the cave and ripping into the Big Game Hunter was so exciting - and wow what a game changer. I think this one probably felt a lot tighter than it actually was. The Nereid Treasure Seeker really determined the shape of the battle and even without that troublesome shark, the Beast could have tied things up for the Fortune Hunters.
