Hey guys! Check out this new Mini from White Metal Games! The effects are really awesome, I feel like we should use sound effects when we play sometimes. Thor God of thunder made this himself! Check out the pics and video, you can have one too if you want!

At first glance it doesn't look so great (as the images are broken at the moment so it's just the preview pic for the vid), then you see it rotate in the video and it just looks awesome as it all comes together. Nicely done.

Pretty cool it came out so well for a salvage as well. Just one thing though, the OSL looks a little weird on vents that are pitch black on the inside of them like the front vents and the ones on the sides of the weapon. Probably works better to put white or an off white in the tone of the glow into those gaps to really make it pop; less like a light is being pointed at the vent and more like the light is coming from the vent that way.

Weird, tested the pic and it works on my other computer. But I've had issues with flickr not working well with Dakka.

Thanks for the OSL advice, yours looks good too! The vents are a bit tougher than the round objects like lights and things, which I'm sure you know.

Given how extensive the blends are, you should go in and pick up the super highlights with white and a brush or something.

Yeah this was based off a cool idea someone had, the OSL looks great but thanks for the tips and constructive criticism, it's always helps when trying to paint the best mini we can!
