So I've loved 40k for a long time but in the past haven't been able to play much due to work and having a busy young family. However after dialing back my second job I've had a little extra time to paint and play. I even let my little one paint orks with me. I plan to show my work and maybe get ideas and feedback from others. I am by no means professional nor do I want be so. I love this hobby and just want to show some amateur work. I'd say my stuff is table top quality and I convert and paint everything myself. Below are some mostly finished projects including my own interpretation of zhadsnark and converted grot tanks.

Wow, off to a great start! I love that warboss on the bike. Top notch conversion all around: it has style, balance, originality, and cool factor with the minigun on the front.

Keep it up. I'll be following your progress and looking forward to seeing more of your conversions. I'm always on the lookout for ideas to loot!

If you like Orks, check out my blog in my signature. I haven't had a chance to post most of my stuff to Dakka and it's quicker to upload to my blog (like you, I also have a young family that takes up most of my time).

Thanks I believe I've read your blog before. You and your brother post battle reports there. Good stuff!

Thanks, Gamer. I'm looking forward to seeing these Bad Moons in a battle report someday. To me, it's one of the highlights of the hobby. Cheers!

Welcome to those viewing my humble WIP blog. I've been working on converting AOBR/Vedros orks into kommandos. I wanted to have at least 20 to field a red skull kommando formation just for the fun of it. I'm still contemplating on what to do with the heads. I did start playing around with green stuff for possible gas masks. Below is what I have so far.

Some nice progress, and I like the grot tanks. I'll be on the lookout for ideas to loot

A Squeaky Waaagh!!

Camkhieri: "And another very cool thing, my phones predictive text actually gave me chicken as an option after typing robot, how cool is that."'

Meercat: "All eyes turned to the horizon and beheld, in lonely and menacing grandeur, the silhouette of a single Grot robot chicken; a portent of evil days to come."

Thanks. I have a lot of green stuff work to do as far as straps to hold some of the extra gear onto the packs. Also I need to either get some more plasticard rod and tubing to make respirators or buy some masked heads. I like the kromlech ones but they a little to WW2 Reich for my army vision.

More WIP painting
The lighting doesn't do them justice. I need to do highlighting still. The big squig is going to be a mount for a grot army I'm scheming.

Always good to see more badmoons You've got a really nice yellow, what paints did you use for it? I recommend a touch of highlighting on a few edges to really make it pop!

Averland sunset with a seraphim sepia wash. Thanks for the compliment. I'm nowhere near as good as many on here but I'm working at it slowly. Finding the time to paint is my problem. lol I find myself buying more models before I finish painting the previous ones.

I think I may paint some checkers on his left shoulder and maybe paint some of the wiring different colors.

Conversions from AoBR/vedros terminators to wolf guard termies. So far I have stripped the paint from previous owner now putting heads on. Need to get more wolfs bits. Previous owner used some tough testors like paint. 91% alcohol worked great

Been working on this converted painboy. I have washed the pants with devlan mud since this picture. I may Greenstuff a drop of goo on the end of the syringe. It seems my pictures never do the real model justice.

Nice job on the painboy, the skin tones on him are particularly nice.

Thank you. I feel like I'm getting better. I like painting ork skin although due to the size of my ork army I think I will only be doing detail like this on characters.

Painted another warboss. A slightly converted AOBR Warboss. My iPhone def doesn't do these guys justice.
