Id like to work shop some backstories for female space marine unit.

Gunna take the basic space marine body and purchase these heads. http://www.statuesqueminiatures.co.uk/p/9147497/sma302-heroic-scale-female-heads-2.html
From the planet Thamiscyra
A feral death world with a extra ordinarily high 3 to 1 female bias birth rate. The planets harsh environment creates a high potential for soldiers.
Fluff suggests that its not impossible for a female to become a space marine just 1 in a trillion compared to the 1 in a billion for men.

As you can probably tell I am going for a amazon theme so a close proximity to Olympia and Ultramar, the planet of Thamiscyra and our commander is Penthesilea.

Right now for justification my current ideas are that some mutation from there planet has made them compatible for space marine gene seeding or perhaps a tampered gene seed by some rogue adeptus mechanicus from the sect organicists cult.
I also could just simply choose to ignore the fluff about female space marines like some of the games do, cause frankly its outdated and really just limits variety.

Is there any lore or fluff I am missing and can fall back on?

The fluff is easy - just say their geneseed comes from either the 2nd or 11th "unknown" Legions, and the reason they are unknown is because the Emperor sure does love his super top-secret projects. Enjoy the tears from salty neckbeards.

You can probably find something somewhere, as there's been so much material written over the years. I don't have much that's helpful, as my only idea is that maybe they started out as one of Fabius Bile's experiments that was successful but he was unable to/didn't get a chance to corrupt to chaos. Then something, something Inquisition.

I must admit I do gain a sense of deep satisfaction knowing I am prodding the sensitive ego's of butthurt fanboys around the world.
I actually went to a game shop in my hometown and was able to incite a rant at the mere mention of the idea.

My current idea is that a old Veteran Space marine donated some genes to a rogue geneticist of the organists cult to craft himself a "Daughter Unit" for some sense of accomplishment or misplaced sense of legacy.
So it goes without saying that he is none-compliant with the codex and thus a heretical unit.

Pretty much this.

Its arguably easier if you're using Chaos Space Marines as a base, because Chaos, but its still viable to work with modified geneseed (since the existing geneseed is apparently keyed to male chromosomes) - you just need to change it to be keyed off of the X chromosome instead.

The end result of the Astartes-creation process itself would be almost indistinguishable, aside from dangly bits in the nethers and slight differences in skeletal structure (though not in the skeletal makeup - both would be enhanced to the appropriately heightened integrity). The Musculature and hair development would pretty much be normal astartes levels - yes, that would potentially include beards.

The real question is how quickly this thread gets locked.

So far the reaction has been pretty positive, I am guessing "they" havent caught the scent of its existence yet.

But yeah, mostly I want to have a discussion of possible work arounds. Iv been told "just use sisters of battle" many times, but unfortunately I do not want to use them, they are almost all metal-cast, they all look the same with very little variation, lore wise they are less interesting than warrior woman and frankly, I like space marines.
( Plus I hear they are sorta out dated, weak and pricey ) Oh and of course you dont get the fun of pissing people off. Thats always a plus.

Well that solves that.

Please don't start troll threads. Thanks!
