We are currently halfway through a 40k narrative campaign and we would love some feedback.
We have a series of battles that add together and climax at a final world ending battle. Pictures have been taken to illustrate our points and each battle report is interspersed with fluff and narrative that is based around the events of the battle. We based these Battle Reports on the old White Dwarf reports that we used to love.
Part one- The Ruins of Caltar is here and introduces the Bloodless chapter and some of the key characters to our story. http://calliam91.wixsite.com/cobwargaming/battle-report-caltar
Part two -The Vally of Kings is here and features a very difficult and crucial decision for the forces of chaos, what would you do? http://calliam91.wixsite.com/cobwargaming/valleyofkings
Part three- Hellfire Munitions is here and is a very one sided affair with some hilarious combat results! http://calliam91.wixsite.com/cobwargaming/battle-report-hellfire-munitions
Part four - is coming soon

We are a pair of friends who have just started to create our own website and we are desperate for some feedback on our creation. so please leave some comments on our website and let us know what you think.

Nice reports. I can see a lot of improvement already, with the third being the best. The annotated map really helps show the layout and objectives and the mat makes the table look better.

My suggestions:
The reports will be more fun to read once all the models are painted.
An annotated deployment map would help the reader understand which units are where.
Put captions on the pics so we understand what we are looking at.

I can see the improvement in your reports over these first three reports so keep up the good work and keep getting better. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

If you get a chance, please check out my photo battle report and leave me some feedback in return. Feel free to loot any ideas you like on the layout, etc.

Great reports! The writings is well done and introducing quick insights between turns was refreshing. Kudos to the Chaos player for being a good sport and switching between gods to keep ever new challenges coming! Seeing the models and battlefields come along motivated me to get back to work on my own; thanks for a good read!

Every few turns a shot showing the entire battlefield or large swathes would make it easier to see the battles progress, especially as more points and units take the field.

Wow thanks, this campaign started as a way to re-introduce ourselves to 40k and explore options within our armies, although the rules are going to be changing we will still finish this campaign as planned. We both would love to hear about your tau progress. do you have a link?

Just updated an older thread, though at this point its almost more of a way to keep myself on track and remember what I wanted to do a few weeks down the road... advice is always appreciated! Looking forward to see how the tale of Mechan 44 continues.
