Hey guys,

I have a coworker who mentioned his wife was getting into Warmachine. I mentioned oh yeah, I think I have some stuff I picked up but then I never really got into it. I could give you my stuff. He said sure, but she only really plays Cryx.

So I checked, and it seems like a few things. Since these have been on a shelf since 2010, I might as well get rid of them. I didn't just make a swap shop thread because, well, you guys very well might say it's junk that's not worth anything - they're all metal models and I am pretty sure that Warmachine stuff is plastic now.

Are these worth anything, or at least in trade for 40k stuff? or should I just give him the whole pile to trade with another Warmachine player?
I have:

Cryx Battlegroup, NIB

Khador Berserker, NIB
Khador Battlegroup, primed black
Khador Kodiak, partially assembled, primed black
Karchev The Butcher or maybe The Terrible(?), 90% painted and assembled

Thanks!

There's a big difference between Karchev and the Butcher. Karchev is a man within a Warjack and on a 50mm base. There are 2 butchers. If he is a man standing on a pile of skulls then he's butcher2 (or the old ebutcher). If he's standing on the ground then he's Butcher1 (or pButcher).

As to value- the Kodiak is a very used choice in Mk3 but like everything else its value is whatever someone will give for it.

There are 4 Butchers actually

In order-
The 2003 original
Butcher2 on the mound of corpses
2010 resculpt
Butcher3 with his Argus unit.

It's Karchev the Butcher. He's a man in a warjack, no pile of skulls, metal. I was confused because the box said "Karchev the Butcher" but google is returning "Karchev the Terrible", for reasons I imagine I am about to know. 99% sure I got him 2010.

The reason you're about to know is that his name is Karchev the Terrible. The Butcher is Orsus Zoktavir, Butcher of Khardov. Entirely different characters.

The models are still good. The cards will be the only thing out of date but he can buy them direct from PP or just get the app.

If he's on a 50mm base and looks like a warjack with a little human head poking out the front, it's Karchev the Terrible. If he's on a 40mm base and is a guy in steam powered armor, it's the Butcher.

Yeah. There are pictures up on the Gallery which can help. You can find Khadoran Warcasters here.

It lists Karchev, Butcher 1, Butcher 1 Classic, and Butcher 2. Should be pretty easy to find out which one he is, especially if you have the a box.

Of those, I think only Karchev has a box. Butcher doesn't have a box until 3, I think (I could be wrong).

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?
