I got today the primarch box and i was wondering who are those guys on the back of the inner box. And what is that machine?

Could you post a picture for those of us without the box/still waiting for the box?

I've goggled the names, and aside from a few ties to real life names that I doubt are little more then referances, nothing. I do have a THEORY. the theory is those are some of the high lords of terra. don't have much to go on beyond a gut feeling

That was my thought too. I think that this is the symbolical clock to 5min before midnight that GW uses or something. Also this is the same back for all the Triumvirates. Any other conspiracy theories?

The one o the far right seems to have a red eye in his forehead. Most of the rest seem to have a similar triangular design in the samevplace on their various hats and the clock itself has a lot of 3rd eye imagery. Something to do with navigators? Or is that the Adepts Astra Telepathica symbol?

The names and imagery evoke prophecy and reform - seems about right for what is going on with the current fluff.

Definitely navigators, probably the different houses. They all have something funky going on right where the fluff tells us their third eyes are.

What would a big dial of navigators mean, though? That's not a rhetorical question meant to attack the idea that they are navigators.

Maybe it's like a council of them or something? Is one or more of the Triumvirate being presented to a group of navigators? Are they together planning something?

some may look like navigators but I disagree that all are. IXX for example, looks like he might be a human looking admech (he seems to have machery in his brain) that and his vaguely numerical name makes me suspect admech. has anyone asked this on GW's FB page?

I'm pretty sure that was in the 6th edition rulebook.

Yes and no, it was brougth up before when the 1st triumvirate showed up, the whole image (that just a bit less than half of it) been shown in rulebook at 6th and 7th books and the image has changed a bit between editions.

It's labeled as Auspicator Cartogrium and you can check it on 7th rulebook background right before The Ecclesiarchy entrance
