i have an S7 that i accidentally deleted all of my pictures on.
do any of you know if they can be recovered?
google just brings up a bunch of programs to do it but i figured id check here before trying some random program.

You can try but unlike PCs, when you delete something on a phone it's usually gone for good.

I am not a techie, but my understanding, due to a similar issue, is this: When you delete a picture on your phone it allows the phone to overwrite the memory used to store the picture with something else. So there may be hope.

I took my Note 5 to a tech shop (Blackapple Cellular, don't know if that's a chain or not), and they were able to restore my phone to the condition it was in before I fethed it up, for a cost of around $50.

Do they back up to a cloud service like Apple do? If so that may be your answer.
