Hi all, I was wondering if this was an okay starting list; I own everything here except for the Devastators and the Rhinos.
For a little context I'm rather new to the game, started collecting my first army (Orks) around December and had wanted for a while to build a Space Marine army as my second faction. Seeing as I wanted to get Space Marines anyway Guilliman's release was a nice bonus for me as I myself rather like him and he served as sort of a catalyst for me to start Space Marines sooner (it doesn't hurt that at 350 points he fills in quite a few points). If you care to know it does indeed use the Start Collecting Space Marines box and the Tactical + Drop Pod box.

Looks like fun, I think the drop pod marine boxes are really worth buying. You should try and go for a formation or battle forged detachment that you would like to work towards when you buy new units. For example if you are going for a gladius later on, you want to buy razorbacks, you can still use them as a rhino when you want too.

I'm a big fan of drop pods so I would buy another pod or two, 3 in an army is golden as you get to deploy 2 in the first turn. Put you marines in them and use the rhino for the dev squad. Although I think you could just skip them and go for more marines or more assaults or perhaps take centurions.

Guiliman will rock this list but you don't have anything that can keep up with him so invest more in the assault marines to support him!

When ignorance reigns, life is lost.

Thanks for the input
I can definitely see about getting a couple more of the Drop Pod + Tactical boxes, my flgs does the 20% off when they order something for you. That's a $4 Drop Pod if I remember the price of Tacticals right.

As an aside, how does the Sanctic Halo from the Relics of Ultramar look? So y'all don't have to look it up only a Captain can have one and it gives FnP and Adamantium Will for 15 points.

Also you might want a Rhino for the devastators so they can drive around and shoot out of the firepoints and let a squad of tacticals march up the board with Guilliman. No point in having a bunch of 12" bonuses if no one is standing around him and the devasators will have to snapfire if they are moving and shooting. I am sure the assault marines will be looking to flank and won't want to stand around near him. Pretty sure he gives a reroll to 1's so you can put both your missles guys in one rhino and just combat squad them to split if you need too. Then you can have plasma's or something with guilliman.
