I have a 1000 point game coming up against Necrons on Saturday.
Here is my idea for a list (although I am using a lot of models I have; I may be able to make more purchases by the weekend, but obviously not many if I want time to paint some of them):

FIRST CURSE

Patriarch, ML2, 2 familiars.
20 Purestrain Genestealers

CAD
Magus, ML2, Crouchling.
10 Neophytes
10 Neophytes, 2 grenade launchers, Goliath truck (mostly to stay in the corner on the board if I don't get first turn).

SUBTERRANEAN UPRISING
Patriarch, Void's Eye.
5 Metamorphs, Claws.
10 Acolytes, 1 Rocksaw, Icon.
5 Acolytes

I have more models for summons, but not a lot more, so I am hoping I can summon more as units die off. The goal is to obviously get as many of my units into combat as possible; at 1000 points it is unlikely I will see too many of the Necron's few combat options i.e. wraiths and lychguard. Any feedback or units I should buy and try to paint by Saturday would be much appreciated.
