Hey,

I was wondering what the best cases for carrying miniatures around in that are small enough to fit on the back of a bike (motorbike) its the only transport i have but the issues comes in the form of me playing Orks, i am trying to find a case that is quite small and could fit a tonne of boyz and one-2 vehicles in, this can be branded or any tips like padded Tupperware you use, I am in a bit of a bind and would love to hear of come creative ways you guys carry your models around, thanks for the help

What kinda space are you looking at? will be it bungied to the back of the bike or side bag or something?

honestly iv been using sword bags from battle foam, the foam is cheap from 3rd parties

but otherwise it might not be enough for a massive ork army unless you get two

It would be either on a small backbox, in a tiny space below the seat (really quite small) or on a backpack that i could wear. or any combination.

I'm thinking about kickstarting one of these:

Can supposedly fit 45 models on 25mm bases per level, not sure how well vehicles will fit on it. The idea is that you put magnets under all your bases and stick it to a piece of metal, so honestly you can make your own if you need to save some money.

I've got quite a few of the KR cases and a couple of their bags. I've found them to be good quality and it's surprising how much you can fit in them.

Vehicles are going to be somewhat of issue. For infantry KR cases do good job. One into Backbag and sorted.

If you need lots of trukks etc could be tricky though...

Would the tiny GW case be any good? As long as your models aren't too tall you should be able to fit a fair number of infantry in it. I get in the region of 110 Marines and 15 terminators with some space spare in one of my cases

I managed to get 1K points of Orks into a single KR case. Would deffo recommend them; mine's great.

Has anyone heard of some sort of backpack variant of case? because that would solve all of my issues and i would just take the tanks by themselves in a box with padding?

Well GW has a backpack sling thing that fits 2 of those new cases of theirs

though i dont really trust it

their is battle foams GO Packs which are backpacks.

im pretty sure it could fit at least 100 dudes and a whole layer of vehicles.

I have a few of the Plano hard gun cases that are cheap (about $15-$20 US), come in a lot of different sizes, and have some easy to cut foam in them. There's even a bottom layer that has the little pre-cut squares in it, so you can customize to fit vehicles or the more fragile models.

Here's the main site.

I have a couple of these ($15 US at my local sporting goods store), and you can fit a lot more in there than it looks like.

Of course it depends on availability where you are, but I'm sure you can find them online too.
