Greetings and Salutations. Quick question about Jet Pack movement in the assault phase. Does the unit have to move the full 2 D6 inches when rolled? Or can they choose how far they want to move. Please forgive my ignorance, just recently got back into 40k...Z

The rule book is pretty clear about this: "can move up to 2d6" in the assault phase".

Interesting. I have watched a lot of battle reports and every time I see players move Jet Packs they move the whole distant. Thanks for the feedback.

Well, that's because there is a sound tactical reason for moving the entire distance. If the entire distance would put you out of Cover, but a partial distance didn't, why would you go the whole way?

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?

If I'm not mistaken, only Hit & Run forces you to move exactly what you rolled

Voted Astra Militarum for a chance for them to get nerfed instead of my own army.
