Hi Folks,

I've just jumped into Warmachine, and have not-hated painting the models. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, so I've decided to share. They're simply painted, and I'm not embarrassed to put them on the table, and that's what I go for. So without further ado...

Looking very nice!

I think if there is one relatively low effort thing to do to make the models pop a bit more, I'd say give the metals a dark wash and then highlight some bits with very bright silver.

Thanks for the suggestion.

The metal I used was Mithril Silver, washed with Nuln Oil. I didn't want to brighten it up too much, as I've already got a lot of white going on, and the bright silver almost blends into it if I go with a straight from-the-pot application. I did a few touches on the Jacks, and on Helynna's halberd [you've got to look really close] but I found I was losing too much contrast with the white on the rifles, so I decided to leave it alone. Plus, all that extra work!

Just completed a unit of Sentinels. I'm very pleased with how the Officer turned out.
