Ridin' on a Snotling Pump Wagon

A fun article by the Nottingham Post, all about how GW, and the various companies it spawned created what's referred to as 'The Lead Belt'

Fun read, I remember seeing ads for one of those gamers tours. Wonder if they still do them?

Wouldn't surprise me.

And with GW being more open these days, that's a potential revenue stream for them, spesh as they can include catering thanks to Bugman's.

Group discount rate to go round the fantastic museum part (so much better than the old 'here's a bunch of cabinets, pretty eh?' one. And far more extensive, include a Burger and Drink, maybe reserved gaming tables (provided you're bringing models) and that's pretty much a whole day out right there.

But forget getting into the Studio.

The Warlord open days are very good, and they now have a full store to host them in. This years should be very good.

Foundry Oldhammer days - also good.

Can't remember the name of it, but I know Carl from the Independent Characters was talking about one. I'm sure he was interviewing the guy who organises them. Sounded great.

I'll need to have a think about who it was.
