It's Monday so time for a brand-new Glacial Geek Battle Report! BUT! Not just ANY Battle Report, it's a two part Siege of the Shrine World battle between the Imperium of Man and the Forces of Chaos! Part 1: https://youtu.be/abw6lxgJqmA and Part 2: https://youtu.be/4xvWWW8Q6g8 The dark cloud of Chaos descended upon the shrine world, enveloping all upon it. The Renegade Guardsmen and Traitor Marines defiled the holy sites upon the planet and engaged in battle with the Sisters of Battle there to defend them. They were preparing the world for a full fledged Daemonic Incursion in preparation for their revenge. Celestine, the Living Saint herself, rose to lead the brave defenders of this holy world as Inquisitors and Assassins plied their trade in defense of the Imperium. When the Dark Angels arrived, having chased the forces of Chaos here from Aldo II, the trap was sprung and those loyal to the Dark Gods unleashed their full might. Will the Forces of Mankind be able to hold this holy planet in the name of the Emperor, or will the Dark Gods claim yet another trophy in their unending war against the Corpse God? Watch and find out!

Wow, just...wow! What a great game! I'll have to see if I can get something like this organized between myself and some of my friends. Still, 10 hours for one game of 40k is a lot. It sure looked like fun though! I am curious as to how large of a table you guys used. Was it just 2 standard 4x6 foot ones pushed together?

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000

It was actually just a standard 4x6! It was crowded, but it was still good to go! ... It probably helped that none of us had really horde armies in play ;-) ... It was a ton of fun, but a long day for sure! Stock up on the caffeinated beverages and snacks ;-)
