Hey dakka, I am looking around on forgeworld and I just noticed how I am really liking the word bearer's conversion kit they have up there, do you think it is worth it to invest in an army of entirely conversion-kit'd tacticals or just use the basica MK4? Maybe use them to represent veterans?

To be honest, I prefer my WB late-heresy, so I used bits from the CSM squad box to give them a more ''chaos'' look. It's cheaper that way. Try to invest the least in 30k, you'll need to save money for the bigger toys.

Conversion kits are fine, but don't overuse them. I found that my Mk 4 TS look great with torsoes ant shoulders from the upgrade packs. The helmets aren't compulsory, I'use them for vets. But generaly I'd suggest just adding WB shoulders. Tacticals are newcomers and didn't have the time to carve writings into the armour. As for vets, consuls and command squads, I'd go full conversion sets if I had the money.
