There should be a way to report a thread from the list of threads, without opening the thread. Most of those skin cream spam threads are easily spotted by the thread title alone & I reckon being able to report them without opening them would help us nuke them a lot quicker.

You only have to click one and press the triangle of friendship, not all of them. I'm sure the Mods' intuition will lead to the deletion of the others.

True, and even though my solution technically only saves one click, it's the principle of rewarding the offending thread with a view uptick, that offends me. I'm probably just being neurotic, but the possibility also occurs to me, that the spam dealers may very well see the view count a metric of success, and if 50 people view the thread only to report it, that may still appear to the spammer as 50 successful views, thereby encouraging more spam.

They're not hanging around to see how many people look at the thread. That's not the purpose of those sorts of spam threads... they're purely to try to carpet the internet with [insert subject here] in order to try to improve their Google page-rank.

Yes, they're definitely not hanging around, and most times neither are their posts, at least not for long!

They're deleted ASAP.
