The list looks good. My only recommendation would be to replace Nicolas Verendrye with Kell Bailoch or even Madelyn Corbeau.

Something cool about Kingmaker, and Magnus1 in particular (even outside of kingmaker), is Feign Death. While you can no longer perform power attacks against your own models, there's nothing stopping you from using the Buccaneer's net against your caster to stop ranged assassinations. It is for this reason I will always drop Kingmaker into Retribution and other ranged oriented lists. When you couple this with Madelyn Corbeau, you can stop a lot of assassinations--restricting them only to enemy warjacks, warbeats, and constructs.

Verendrye has never made his slot as a free solo back to me, so I'm not a fan. Halberdiers are excellent as they are...and one of the excellent things about them is that you don't need to drop points into making them good.
