Bathing in elitist French expats fumes

So I've watched a few of the Open finals on youtube (gotta do something on that stationnary bike, eh?)

So far I see a lot of Kannan/Zeb/Biggs, but although it gets fairly high in the rankings, it seems to be either an immense hit or a total flop, according to matchup. And I don't like that.

I keep hearing about bombs, so I'm assuming triple K-Wing with Sabine is still a thing... but man that list is hard to play. I also saw a variant of double K-wing with Biggs.

I've tried fielding variations on the theme of three T-70s... but they are not as efficient as I'd like. And Poe really doesn't pull his weight anymore as soon as a HSCP enters the fray.

Corran and Miranda, I'm actually curious to try that out.

Are we going to fall back on BBBBZ? Again? UUUU with a few upgrades on each? The extra green dice might be worth it.

The only other things I have seen with regulairty are Fat Falcon (mostly TFA title), Miniswarm of As and two Arcs with Biggs but none of them are really competative. I like the thought of BBBBZ coming back much better to play against than endless regen boredom (or even worse quad TLT).

I've been playing Miranda/Biggs/stresshog (I thought of it before it was cool!) and it seems good. Miranda and bomb k-wings are good, Biggs seems to be a near-mandatory element in rebel lists, and stress control suddenly has a lot more value in a post-X7-nerf world. I used to do Corran/Biggs/stresshog, which I think would probably also be good for similar reasons.

Corran/Miranda might still be good, and I've played it some, but it's definitely a very binary list. You either win big or get wiped off the table, with what list you're facing being a huge part in deciding that.

Kanan/Biggs is obviously great. Four TLT shots per turn with focus + TL on every shot is great at removing stuff, while Biggs ensures that Kanan gets into endgame with enough HP to win. It's got a pretty hard counter in a good u-boat + Fenn Rau player (Boba Fett strips your TLT and then you lose), but otherwise it's a very consistent list.

T-70s are bad. Poe gets hard-countered by HSCP, and none of the other T-70s are even remotely playable.

BBBBZ is just a bad list, and will probably continue to be a bad list. Pure jousting lists just have too many weaknesses against most of the stuff that is good right now, and dual Ghost + y-wing is a better list if you want pure jousting.

This. What are you running on Miranda? Some sort of bombs, I'd assume. I've been trying a similar list that replaces the Stresshog with an ARC.

Q: What do you call a Dinosaur Handpuppet?

A: A Maniraptor

I'm guessing TLT, Sabine, some bombs maybe ex munitions

The exact list that won the system opens. TLT, Sabine, extra munitions, advanced SLAM is the starting point for bomb Miranda in general, and in this case you get 7 points worth of bombs. Right now I'm doing thermal detonators and cluster mines to see how it works, but I've used conner nets and ion bombs in the past.

also Hera / Asoka seems to be a thing, turns out combat phase boosts are quite neat
