Man, that site is ugly.

Their is a lot that goes into the mechanical side of dice rolling and one they overlooked is the dice themselves. Precision dice, the milled kind used in casinos, are a very different animal than mass produced hobbyist dice. The rolling bias indicated in the article may be an artifact of the dice used. Irregular mass distribution from the injection process, the curing process of materials used or even pipping can all produce bias. Likewise, rounded edges can very much affect dice behavior and produce bias.

Rolling has long been known to affect outcome and it is why casinos don't allow slide throwing.
