Sekhmet terminators come stock with force weapons. Apart from giving them 1-2 chainfists, is there any purpose in exchanging things like force axes for lightning claws? Force axes are ap2, wound on 3s, can ID enemies, but go last. LCs have ap3, but hsve shred and strike at initiative. The upgrade to LCs is free, but is there any real reason to do it?

the only reason I can see is if you wanna chuck them at power armour (for some reason ) or the rule of cool since 30k doesn't NEED you to be at the peak of your list to have fun

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

This right here!

Mixing up the equipment on your Terminator Squads is usually a great idea. I like taking a couple lightning claws or even power mauls just to strike at initiative to reduce some of those p-fist attacks before they happen. Five terminators generate around 10 attacks (15 on the charge), and 15 p-fists at initiative 1 will hurt, but it's also a bit of overkill. If you manage to kill one or two before Initiative 1, it dramatically cuts down on the hurt they will give you. My standard ratio is 2 p-fists/3 other melee weapons. It does very well.

As I stated in another thread, Power Axes, Power Mauls, Lightning Claws... these are all way more cooler then an oversized Spank Glove.

I'd have to disagree here outside of 2-3 chainfist you want to keep force axes. With a 2w 2+ 3++ you are far more likely to survive than your oponenent no matter what weapon they are using. Thus you should be taking advantage of the unwieldy weapons.

For what it counts for, I like three dual lighting claws and two chainfists, mainly cause an extra attack is better than a few combi bolters in my opinion. But that is for regular terminators, it seems like force axes would be nice for sekmet, maybe throw in some chainfists.
