Mondays are one of those things in life that always come whether you want them to or not ... But thankfully there is a brand-new Glacial Geek Battle Report to ease the pain! https://youtu.be/lZT4V3lQG90 This week we continue the story in our narrative campaign upon the surface of Thrace! As the Imperial Forces begin to strengthen their foothold on the planet Thrace, considerations for the larger campaign to retake the planet begin to assert themselves. The Orks have held a key skyport and a strategic tower there in, preventing proper air transportation and interfering with navigation and teleportation. The Dark Angels send forth a force tasked with hitting the Greenskins hard and fast and driving them from the airfield. Interrogator-Chaplain Dominus rallies his men for the strike that will either open up the skies for the Sons of the Lion, or stymie them further. Will the Unforgiven be able to reclaim the skyport and regain air superiority on the planet, or will the Orks prove too strong to dislodge? Watch and find out!

Great game! I wasn't sure how it would end until near the final turn, when things really went south for the Orks. Losing both flyers was pretty ugly, but those Mek Gunz did pretty well before they got charged. Looking forward to the next battle in this campaign!

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
